  1. Keep your cells a fixed height to aid power/ground routing.
  2. Keep poly as SHORT as possible. Keep poly SIMPLE (i.e. no bends).
  3. Use extra contacts/vias if there is space.
  4. Add ntap/ptap cells to most cells (we seem to need it for LVS to work...).
  5. M1 is "mostly" horizontal, M2 vertical, M3 horizontal, etc.
  6. Minimize all metal, diffusion, poly area as this just adds extra capacitance.
