Revision as of 23:27, 30 October 2014

This quarter we are going to explore low-power VLSI sensor systems for medical and biomedical applications. I'd like people to start looking at things like: high efficiency power supplies, ADC converter architectures, sensors, statistical sampling, filtering, etc. The goal is for people to find an interesting paper and provide it to the group so that we can discuss it. The person that selects the paper will lead the discussion with questions we can talk about.

Thursdays 9am E2-301.

Some ideas to look for papers:

IEEE Sensors Journal http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/RecentIssue.jsp?punumber=7361

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems http://sites.ieee.org/tbiocas/

Surveys are a good option, but are usually long. :)

Compressed Sensing System Considerations for ECG and EMG Wireless Biosensors http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?arnumber=6184345

Galvanic Skin Response sensors?

Optical Heart Rate (and Pulse Oximetry) papers?
